On That Day

This hard hitting documentary was made as part of More 4's Iraq season by the film makers Marc Hoeferlin and Barney Broomfield. It investigates the Haditha massacre by American marines and the cover up that followed.

The film uses music very prominently and this creates a powerful atmosphere for the tragic subject matter.

War Feels Like War

The film War Feels Like War was made by the film maker Esteban Uyarra and has won international acclaim.

The score for this film was written as my final MA project.

Galapagos

This was written as an entry to the BBC New Talent competition for Film Composers.

Film Company Ident

Wagon Wheels

The brief was to get as close to the famous Henry Mancini recording of 'The Way We Were' as possible with out infringing copyright.

The voice over is done by Rob Brydon and the advert was written by Kastner and Partners.

Facing Mara

This award-winning film showcased the talents of the dancer Mara Galeazzi and the choreographer Cathy Marston of the English Royal Ballet with the music of William Morris.

Box Clever

This composition was to an animation and had to successfully create a believable sound world using only live instruments.

It was written on the MA course for Composing for Film and Television, Kingston University and was recorded by the resident ensemble, the renowned Delta Sax Quartet. It was conducted by the composer.

Silence

Karl Hammond's brilliantly tragic animation is about a struggling composer with murderous tendancies.

All music and sound design was created by William Morris.

The Royal Rascal

As well as being Musical Director for this show, passages of a black and white "silent" film had music especially written for them and were projected on a screen on stage.
